URGENT - in Valencia affected by storm DANA & still without ability to use my data on my new FP5 from my UK card (Talk mobile network) and I really need to have access!
I’ve never had issues with my UK card abroad before in my other phones. But since switching to FP5 few weeks ago, I’ve only been able to use in with WiFi, which right now is not a possibility because of what’s going on here.
Can you read hear and see if this your issue? And you are in an area with network because it still doesnt work in all parts as far as I know from a friend who is affected
Thanks @yvmuell for replying. I’ve switched to FP5 on 24/10, almost 2 weeks ago, and only been able to use it with WiFi, it wasn’t a huge issue as I was able to connect to WiFi in most places. Whereas now it is a huge issue, because I’m out every day in random places helping to rescue animals, help people, and not having internet access is really difficult. I’ve reset mobile network settings & still nothing. I’ve read that I should do something with the APNs (none of mine are set) but I don’t know what to set them to. Is there any step-by-step guide to help with this issue, since it seems more people had this issue too (I’ve never had this before with any other phone). Thanks a million.
The settings are provider specific. Normally you can find them on their Homepage, Q+A section often. Or in general searching the internet.
So either change the existing setting or try to set-up a new one with the plus sign, important: you have to save using the 3 dots, its not saved automaticllay. Should that not work, as long as you are not in UK (i dont know) maybe a prepaid Spanish SIM can help.
