My phone model is not available on the Reuse & Recycle program

Hello,
I just bought a fairphone Gen 6 (I’m very happy with it!), and wanted to send my old phone for recycling (I’m in the EU and otherwise eligible). However, my old phone is an Asus Zenfone 8 and I can’t find it on the Reuse & Recycle Program.
The ‘Select your Brand’ does not have an Asus option, but on ‘Find your phone’, there are a few older zenfones (e.g. ZENFONE 3 (ZE520KL) 32G DS 3G), but no Zenfone 8. I can’t find what to do in this case in the FAQ and without being able to select a phone, I can’t proceed to produce a shipping label. Obviously, it’d be cool to get a gift card, but I’d be happy just knowing that I’m sending it to a company that does due diligence in recycling/reusing.
I submitted a request about this to Fairphone around a week ago, but I haven’t heard back, so I was wondering if anyone in this communitry has had a similar experience.

Hello, I sent in two phones that I could find in the drop out list but the third one just recycled locally because it wasn’t listed.
I did sent the phones directly to Cordon Electronics (the transfer was organised by Fairphone) so I guess it’s up to them what phones they accept.
You could ask an AI bot though its insight is limited.
I checked the website of FPs partner and they accept older ZenFones but not the one you mentioned. Perhaps you could contact them directly to enquire the reason.
