It stays logged in longer, but it’s not persistent. At least, on my phone it’s still like that. Latest update for a while and did reset of data. Cookies accepted, just in case.
On my FP4 with the latest version it works the same.
It stays logged in for one day or less, but then it automatically log out.
I don’t know why.

Well, on my FP5 it can’t even sign up… 
I confirm. Some days later it logged out (didn’t reboot or some such). Oh well. -shrug-
Just noticed today that with the latest update of My Fairphone app, now the login state seems persistent.
