I posted in this thread on Sept 4th since I had a green F6 which also died while charging.
I got a replacement phone and so far it has been good. Out of caution I have enabled a charge limit of 80% and use Eco charging only (slow charging).
Many people have reported the upper part of the screen getting hot and I have been noticing this as well when I use a charger capable of 30+ W.
I downloaded this app called AccuBattery and check it once in a while.
- It seems the “slow” charging mode simply does not work at all
- Sometimes the charge power oscillates between 5W and 30W. Like every few seconds it switches
- Other times it just pulls 30W continuous
If anyone knows a way to log the battery logs continuously I’d be really curious to make some graphs. For now I will stick to a dumb 5W USB-A charger.
