Mobile data app synchronization

hi there,

the fp 2 is my first smartphone.
my problem is, i might have changed something in the settings but can’t figure out what went wrong.
my mobile internet is working with google etc, but not with the messenger synchronization (signal) or an news app that i use. i probably changed it to save battery, if that helps.
any idea what to do?

I can think of two settings that cause your problem:
1.- Have a look if Battery Saver is active in Settings–>Battery–>three dot menue in the upper right corner -->Battery Saver
2.- Have a look if Background Data is restricted: Settings–>Data usage–>three dot menue in the upper right corner -->Allow Background Data

thanks for your reply. but both settings are fine. so, unfortunately this is not the reason for my problem.
