When connecting the XL and setting the volume at the lowest possible value on my laptop (Dell with Fedora) the volume is still quite loud. When testing with my Jabra Elite 75t, the volume can go much lower. For better focus it’s nice to let the volume go down to a minimum.
I reported the issue and it was forwarded to the product team.
I can’t take my new fairbuds XL volume below 8%. It goes silent after that. 8% is too loud for me. How can I fix this? I get this issue both on windows and linux mint.
Is the problem the same with a mobile phone?
In Windows, system master volume can be adjusted by 1% increments. Also, some apps have their own volume control which factors the master volume, and you can adjust apps individually using Settings > System > Sound > Volume mixer.

It’s the same with the phone. I can choose 6%, but it goes mute.

In Android, volume takes values between 0% and 100% in 6.6% intervals (100 divided by 15 intervals).
On looking closely, I see the same effect in Windows with my Jabra headphones. No sound when going below 6% (although the intervals are 1%).
I get the impression this “minimum too loud” effect might be a generic Bluetooth thing.
