A few days ago YouTube stopped working for me and started shutting down before saying it needed google play services to work. I’ve since updated my phone and tried a few other things. I haven’t been able to find any helpful advice anywhere so I’m hoping someone else has run into this problem.
The issue started before I made any updates and to the best of my knowledge happened while I was listening to a video at work. The video stopped and when I checked on why it had an error box over the app saying it needed Google play services to work. My phone was locked and in my pocket when the video stopped and had shown no signs of any issues prior.
