I am new to Fairphone 5 and recently got a new one myself. So far it seems quite cool. Also it’s the first phone I ever rooted so far. Luckily it went quite well. Thanks to some guides I found.
Then I thought I could simply replace the lock and unlock sounds, but this was not possible. It seems like /system is read only in every occasion …
Finally after hours I found out that you can simply write an own Magisk module, which is able to replace such files in this folder. I thought it might be a nice idea to share this module here, in case somebody else is in the same situation like me:
Please keep in mind: I am totally new in such things. Use at your own risk. Also the sounds in this repo might change over time, since I am doing this mainly for me. Maybe some day I will find out if there might be a dynamic solution for replacing such sounds.
Oh, the sounds: they are legit to use in this module, by the way. I made them on my own. It’s basically my job. (;
