Loudspeaker does not work anymore for Spotify or audio podcast.
In Sound and vibration, the Media volume sliderbar seems to be disabled (because vagu grey).
If I put Spotify on, then the vertical sliderbar with the music note is up, but the music note is scratched (disabled?)
I have latest version Android14.
I did restart my FP5.
Any suggestions?
Can you take a screenshot of the volume slider? Are you in âdo not disturbâ-mode maybe?

Do not disturb was ON!
I would have guessed that âdisturbâ comes from outside and would not influence my own usage of SpotifyâŚ

Is this reproducible for you? I cant reproduce, enabling DnD I can still use Spotify on Loudspeaker and adjust vol.

I did listen to Spotify and then I set DnD via settings: Spotify music disappeared instantly.
Then I turned off DnD and Spotify music was again alive.
Seems to be reproducible.

Thanks for the details I still cannot reproduce, no issues when enabling DnD while using Spotify, music just keeps playing an Vol can be changed. So there seem to something on your device causing this and I have no real ideas what this could be. I never use DnD and neither Wellbeing but I vaguely remember Wellbeing causing weird issues, so in case you use it, see if there are any setting interfering or ig you can deactivate (not sure its possible).
I am not using the âwellbeingâ function.
Hallo, das FP5 meiner Fau hatte auch Probleme mit dem Ohrlautsprecher, er blieb stumm.
Wir haben das Gerät zur Reparatur gesandt, das Problem kam zurßck! Wir haben ein neues Gerät bekommen, das Problem kam nach 2 Wochen wieder.
Im Forum habe ich einen Tipp bekommen und habe das Häckchen bei âGerät suchenâ deaktiviert. Danach lief alles ausgezeichnet.
Diesen Vorgang habe ich auch FAIRPHONE gemeldet, aber da ist kein Interesse, so was zu erfahren!
Vielleicht funktioniert dieser âTrickâ auch bei deinem Problem. Robert.

I believe it might depend on your DnD settings.
Thatâs my usual way of muting the phone so it does silence all the multimedia. Then I can easily reproduce, yes, once DnD is on, Spotify is muted and the volume option is off.
However I can easily modify DnD settings to play multimedia
I can also confirm this, I set DnD so even if I would accidentally increase volume overnight I wonât wake up my wife I open a video with music or just messaging app sounds. Line greyed out with a block sign
