I recently bought an external travel screen (ASUS Zenscreen) to use with my Fairphone 4 which is USB alternate Display port (DP alt) compatible. I realized that this cable designed to last is NOT DP alt ready. Which means Fairphone don’t sell a USB cable which allows to fully use the Fairphone 4 at all in their shop!
For the 35€ I was expecting a cable that is actually ready for the future… Now I need to buy another cable that is DP alt ready.
