Location settings - default to GPS only instead of high precision

Hey all,

Using FP Open OS, when I activate the location using the panel shortcut, it is always set to “high precision”. Is there a way to have this button go by default into " GPS only" instead, so that I don’t have to do it every time manually ?

That was the same with “standard” FP OS and is not specific to FP Open OS.
There is no setting to change this behavior, but if you don’t use apps that start using GPS by themselves in the background you can simply leave device-only-GPS enabled all the time. As far as others here on the forum have posted leaving GPS enabled but unused doesn’t drain the battery and that is also my experience.

I recall now that this setting was editable in cyanogen but probably not in android 5.1 then…
