Hello,
I swapped from an Poco F2 with android 13 to using the transfer phone wired feature in the setup. Most apps went fine but I noticed a problem. In the old phone I could see the calendar from “Vision Mobile” app in the Google calendar app. In this one the calendar does not appear. I tried uninstall and install updates. Log off, and long in. Disable calendar sync in the app and enable again, remove permissions and add them again. Nothing works.
It is a disturbing bug as that app is the laundry booking, which is quite a thing in Sweden
, and I really want to recover that feature.
Any idea what could have happened? Google bug? Android 15 bug? Or Fairphone problem?
I checked in all installed calendar apps (Google, outlook, proton) and it is nowhere.
Thanks!
Did you add it in the calender settings → manage accounts → Non-Google accounts?
Hi!
Thanks for your help.
If I got to calender settings → manage accounts, there is no option as that, it just offers my two Google accounts. If I go to “add account” there is no option to add a non Google one.
When I check also in my picture and go to “manage local accounts” this app does not exist either.
I will try to check how it looks in the old phone if it turns on.
I think I could solve part of it. Sync still does not work.
I installed this app in both phones https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kfsoft.calendar.backup.ics
Then export as ics the local calendar from old phone. Import in new phone creating a local calendar. Was still not visible.
I uninstalled all Google calendar updates, went back and I could enable the local account. Finally I installed the update and remains there. However new events do not appear, only the backed up and restored.
