Since the latest update I miss the option to change the performance under “Energy saving mode and performance”. The area is suddenly empty.

I can confirm the issue.
I had the problem several times for like 30 minutes until I used the workaround to fix it. (And I was in areas with good LTE coverage.)
Anyway, I switched back to Fairphone Open and I don’t have this issue anymore 
When a phone call comes in, I do not have the option to answer via SMS, there is no button. How come? In the phone options, I can change these short answers… I have the latest LOS 17.1…
Looks like I’m having the mobile data issue again since the last update.
Also, it happened once that my phone was telling me I had 3G (with the 3G icon in the status bar), although I did not, I could not connect to the internet (even after having waited a minute).

Do the APN settings comply with your carrier?
I’ll check. But as it still works once out of two, and before it worked without any problem (and I haven’t changed anything), I think they are.

Hey everyone 
(FP2 running newest build)
I don’t have a specific complaint right now - every feature is working! Yay!
But: Everything is sooooo sloooooooooooooooooooooow…
Example: I write something in Messenger A, then switch to Messenger B. Takes 10-15 seconds to switch. Then I want to write something. Takes 5 seconds for the keyboard to show up. And so on. Everything I do will cause a lag of at least 2 or more seconds.
Is there a way to determine what the cause of this is?

So, everybody can answer a call with SMS, do you have the button on this incoming call screen?
Just tested: No, it’s not there. But since I have never used this feature I cannot even say if it used to be there in the past.
Confirmed, although short messages are stored and editable, they are not offered to be sent.
Thx for reply. Strange thing: in the most recent update of today the funktion is there!!! Coincidence or did someone read my post? But it works only for calling SIM1, not for SIM2… THX anyway…

Not necessarily. I found out, for O2-DE “it depends”. Only the exact matching ones work reliable.

Thanks for posting, but I am missing the SMS messages that can be sent when the call has not been answered. I can find them, but they are not offered to be sent. Can you access them?
yes, the preconfigured messages can be accessed via settings of the phone-app and are then shown during the call when pressing this sms-icon… the sms is sent after touching, just tested…

when i use two sim cards, how can I deactivate one of the two? Under Android 9 it was still possible.

This is not possible so far under LOS 17.1…this was reported to be one of the functions not (yet) working, already in the beta phase…
