Lineage 17.1 for FP2 - Second preview version

@chrmhoffmann Can you enable battery percentage in the notification bar at the very top of the screen? Or if anyone else can update me on if I can enable it myself through some settings I have not found yet?

EDIT: Please disregard. Solved by @vthejay below.

mm for that I am not an it specialist

Interesting, I’d also missed displaying the percentage and roughly search for a setting. But I didn’t find one either.

I’ve been so stunned that I can’t install anything anymore:expressionless:

You do realise you are posting this in a topic about a preview version of an alternative OS that once it even becomes official (by the definition of the corresponding community body) will be serviced with automatic nightly builds without beta testing.

You were on the predecessor version of this already, and you are stunned now  ?

Thanks @vthejay and @urs_lesse!
Now that I know it’s there I’ve remembered to use more the magnifying glass in settings. It could have easily be found be searching for (depending on selected language) battery/Batterie or percentage/Prozent…

Installed the latest beta after i deleted my previous installation of LOS16.
I’m not sure if it depends on the beta or on magisk but i have problems flashing FDroid via TWRP or the root privilegs extension.
It took also several trials to delete the stock gallery app. Titanium Backup and SD Maid failed without and with busybox.
I had succes with third or fourth trial with the debloat modul from Magisk.

Is anybody else experiencing performance issues?

Since the second beta version I am having lagging response. The phone freezes (~half a second) when I e.g. switch apps, go back, turn fight mode on/off.

Never had this before with any OS version. Phone does not get hot and there is nothing in the background keeping it busy.

Any ideas how to improve the situation?

Anything obvious from logcat, that you might want to post here?
Have you tried a factory reset?
Chris

@chrmhoffmann thanks a lot for taking care of the FP2 @ 17.1

Excuse me. But what does that picture mean?

I’m not an expert but it looks like a log. The log basically says that someone added lines of code (green means added, red means deleted) to a project. And sky thanks chrmhoffmann for adding the code

To me it looks like the FP2 is on a nightly (N) build list with 17.1.
Can someone tells us more?

This means that chris added the FP2 to the list of devices which would get the nightly build of LOS17.1 if this change is merged.
