I don’t know.
A change in the naming convention from nightly to userdebug? A manual build instead of the automatic nightlies?
There’s no new build here yet.
Since the 20190908 build worked for others already, it should work.
hm oke, I try the version 2019-09-08 again tomorrow to reinstall.
It works ! Thank you
I want to install LOS16 later. Will TWRP 3.2.1 work or should I update? No encryption on my device
Should work, but updating to at least the proven stable 3.2.3-0 can’t hurt. The 3.3 branch has shown some problems here and there.
Encryption or not is not important for installing.
i’m reading a lot of post yesterday. i think it was the last userdebug build from mr. hoffmann and i had to install manuel then.
The date on every build is 2019-09-08. Is now everything broken?
https://builds.lineageos.org/
Found this here …
"I’ll be dropping gitlab-ci tonight, their API has been unreliable for ~2h+ builds and I can’t actually remember the last day we had that a build didn’t fail for a gitlab issue (https://builds.lineageos.org/?status=failed).
Builds will be showing up at https://buildkite.com/lineageos/android starting this evening."
And here’s a 20190912 build …
Ah. Thank you. That explains a lot.
New build available working great!
With me, the updatet has worked well
Confirmed, 20190912 works fine and is highly recommended since it raises the Android security patch level to 5 September 2019.
Confirming lineage-16.0-20190913-nightly-FP2-signed.zip
sha256 as stable. Update went smoothly.
successfully installed lineage-16.0-20190914-nightly-FP2-signed.zip
but to avoid an unnecessary hassle in the future

could you upvote bug report
https://gitlab.com/LineageOS/issues/android/issues/937
The background is on Restore cloud backup asks for a 3x3 pattern, but is encrypted with 6x6 -
@chrmhoffmann and @z3ntu, could you provide some guidance on how to contribute to the build?
That could help to gain more supporters to lower the burden on @chrmhoffmann. If something forces you to cease work on it, the project is doomed.
There are guides on LineageOS.org:- My device is not officially supported, but I’d really like to give LineageOS a try. Can you support my device?
- Build for FP2
- https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/FP2/build
but it does not explain how
- the device became a supported device,
- providing the device’s device specific configuration and kernel.
- integrate patched from FairphoneOS
- fix things like the reason for the latest outcry
p.s. I have a 10.1 2014 tablet, which is now unsupported. If understand better the background of building LOS, I want to give it try to make official again.
Hi,
I don’t think this needs to be discussed here. If you want to contribute look at how to build Android.
Chris
Hello,
I’m still having lots of random reboots with LOS 16.0.
In basically every possible situation.
Here’s a download-link to the last
last_kmsg
Thanks in advance!
If i have read your last_kmsg in the right way one of your cpu cores was in trouble.
So maybe your reboots are driven by high cpu temperature. So you can try to tweak your CPU settings. See this post (and forwarded posts): Most sustainable way to replace FP2: Better now then wait until it dies? Opinions?
Hi there,
there more a dozen users in this topic but
https://gitlab.com/LineageOS/issues/android/issues/937 1
has only two votes.
That affects anyone who uses LOS and Lock Screen, so please vote for it
If I get this correctly: It only affects people who use LOS and a lock screen pattern (not PIN or password) and a certain grid size and GApps and Google cloud backup (ouch). That’s why it might get limited attention. Spamming this thread probably won’t change that.
There a lot of and that true but to ensure a nice and easy user experience for standard user.
If I tell other users of my positive LOS experience and you still have the same feature as on stock ROM is required, such tripping hazard must not happen.
Such things are showstoppers, this rumors scars off any standard user.
A standard user may does not LOS flash so I was often contacted to do so for him or her as my function of Angel.
