Launcher improvements (folders or categorise options & hidding apps)

Durning playing with Fairphone 6 I still missing two features from default launcher which allows me to use it. For now, I decided to use smart launcher as there are issues with Microsoft Launcher.

Default Launcher in Fairphone should have possibility to organise applications in folders at app drawer. Would be also nice if Fairphone launcher allows to hide some applications (like google, licence app for PowerAMP etc. I really like to organise my apps by category in application drawer and having them sorted alphabetical it’s pain for me specially if you have a lot of them.

I come from a OnePlus phone. I’d add to that list the ability to rename an app.

I love the Niagara launcher. I don’t like all the folder organising. For me Everything alphabetical. Names I’ve chosen. And I Hide stuff from the list that I don’t use and/or can’t be uninstalled.

I’m also moved from OnePlus. After they stopped oxygenOS team and pulling rebranded ColorOS I refuse to use their device forever.

Yeah, strongly agree with this. I don’t remember ever having another smartphone that lacked the ability to organise the app drawer with the built-in launcher. I didn’t even know there was such a thing as a launcher until today :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

I strongly agree with this request! I recently switched from an old Samsung phone to a Fairphone 6, and I find it really annoying that I cannot organise applications in folders in de app drawer. Currently it is just a messy chaotic drawer instead of an nicely organised drawer.

Its alphabetic, so while its not as you are used to from Samsung, it still has a structure.

And for feature requests, contact Fairphone directly
