Like many of you, I recently received an email announcing the extension of the upgrade offer for Fairphone 3 owners until 31 December 2026.
The email clearly states: ‘You are entitled to a €50 discount on the Fairphone (Gen. 6), as well as a free protection pack.’ It also mentions the personal code to be used.
• My question concerns the eligibility of the Fairphone Gen 6 (+) model.
The text only mentions the standard ‘Gen. 6’. Have any of you already tried this code on the ‘(+)’ version? Does the code work in the basket if you select the higher-end model, or is it strictly reserved for the basic model?
Did you have to add the case and screen protector for the €50 discount to apply to the ‘(+)’ model as well?
I’d rather ask before going through with a test order. If anyone already knows the answer or has tested it, I’d love to hear from you!
I don’t have a voucher, so I cannot try - but wouldn’t the discount be displayed before you actually place the order? I would give it a try and go until the step before payment to see if the amount is actually deducted
Chatbot? There isn’t one on the Fairphone website If you’re referring to ‘artificial intelligence’ in general, then yes. I wanted to see if this topic had already been discussed. Then I had a look here to see if I could find the information myself.
Yes, that’s what I was thinking of doing too, but I know that on some websites, once you’ve entered the code (even without paying), you can no longer use it. So I wanted to see if anyone had any experience with this. Thanks anyway
I have probably “tested” each and every discount code I have ever used at shop.fairphone.com, and I was always able to abort/take back the code and use it later instead.
