Fairphone 4 fall durability

My FP4 just fell 20 meters to a hard floor and it survived with just a little split in the battery. It broke the fall after 5 metres, sent all the components on their own path and it all snapped back together like an old nokia. The screen must have fell flat as it isnt even cracked, what a marvel of engineering!

Lost and found in Dubai desert

How solid is FP2? Share your crashtests!

Hi all, With the passing of time, it becomes more and more likely that some FP2’s get smashed, cracked up, shattered, and so on. This is quite sad, but it also gives a great opportunity to assess if FP is as solid as fair. Yesterday, mine fell from ~7m high while rock climbing (I know, that’s stupid… tell my friend who had it in her pocket!). It bumped once on the cliff, and fell on the ground, made of dirt. Cars drove over my fp4

Hi all. An hour ago, two or three cars drove over my phone (fell out of pocket while crossing the street). Now the screen’s broken and it doesn’t work that well. I can’t take it apart, the very first screw broke (the one on that part I would need to take out first) and I can’t look at the small parts to see if they are okay or not. Should I just replace the whole phone or just the display? Since I don’t really know what’s broken inside or not… Thanks!

So, now both were finally there, our new stove and finally a Fairphone. After a month of normal use, i watched a video on the device and cleaned the stove, or the other way around. In any case, the video was over too quickly and the Fairphone, as it lay there in the baking compartment, no longer drew attention to itself.
