Is Fairphone still interested in their 149€/ 161.35$ product “Fairbuds”?
The product is still offered on their site at this price.
Without any indication that the product has not received any software or firmware updates for ages and that the Fairbuds basically don’t work at all.
I mean, Fairphone still seems to have enough free capacity to send out emails about promotions and new announcements at certain intervals.
They could also adjust the price of the Fairbuds accordingly to less than €15 and indicate in bold red letters that support has been discontinued and that the product was a failure. That would be honest.
I don’t need to repeat anything that has already been written many times by Fairbud buyers (including myself) - e.g. here in Forum (I know that you don’t stand a chance here in the forum against the many Fairphone believers who deny everything “It’s fine. Everything fine. I don’t know what are you talking. It’s fine”)
Initially the buds kept turning off within the first ten mins, so I’ve emailed support (a few weeks ago now). I’ve had no response, which is also pretty bad.
However, as the others reported, there are still major issues. The buds constantly crashes when connected to my smartwatch so I can’t take them for sport. Bluetooth latency is huge and thus can’t be used for anything else than music. I only tried to do a visiocall with them once and my colleagues told me the microphone was awful and I had to switch to something else. So now I’m mainly using the previous version of Fairphone Earbuds.
Everything is fine! Nothing to see. Last update long ago, doesn’t work and buds turning off?
It’s fine, please go and buy upcoming Fairphone 6.
