Is a FP3 compatible with a Square Reader?
I would rather go to the manufacturer: Look up the documentation, datashett, faq and/or forum of the Reader.
Fairphone devices aren’t listed, but that doesn’t mean they wouldn’t be compatible. Actually, these payment devices are pretty widely compatible.
Your FP3 would be using its mobile data connection to upload the transactions, and Bluetooth to connect with the reader.
I would advise you to contact Square directly with your question before ordering, just to be sure.
