please do not be annoyed by my newbie question: my latest smartphone is from the fruit vendor… I’m very willing to switch to FairPhone but I only know (and because of Wifi troubles: do not like) Apple’s iOS. Since I have invested in a good deal of apps my question is:
can iOS be installed on FairPhone II so that I could maybe continue to use the apps I have come to like?

I’m 99% certain that iOS will not work on the Fairphone 2.
The standard OS will be Android and there are plans for alternative FLOSS Operating Systems.
One of the good things about Android is that for a lot of Apps that cost something on iOS there are free (as in freedom and as in free beer) alternatives on different Android markets.

Let me be slightly firmer here: I am 100% certain that iOS will not work on the Fairphone 2. Besides technical issues, it’s something Apple would never, ever allow.
