Install eOS before transfer

Hey folks,

soon, I will receive my Fairphone3 and will need to transfer my data/contacts ect. I am thinking about a shortcut, installing /e/OS first and then transferring from iOS. Has anyone done that and is willing to share experiences, especially about obstacles and troubleshooting.

I would recommend reading this doc

first and then deciding where /e/ OS (still officially in beta) might need special treatment.
