Impossible to do a professional order with VAT number

Hello,
I’m trying to order a Fairphone 6 as a company in France.
When I checkout, I’m trying to change from personal order to professional one within the invoice address menu. It is not possible to select company rather than personal, it doesn’t change when clicking. I tried with various Internet browsers (Brave, Safari, Firefox, Chrome, Edge). Have you experienced this? How can I resolve this issue?
Regards,
Romain Barrallon

you better get in contact with Fairphone directly.

I tried… I wrote a ticket for the same issue 3 months ago and didn’t get any answer!

Hello, sorry to hear that
My suggestion would be to try the online chat (open today for twenty more minutes), or submit a business enquiry

@Fairphone_CM that might need your intervention

Thanks for your reply. I also tried the chat and it says he cannot help me,. I can try a business enquiry but I’m self-employed and only need one Fairphone, not dozens, I thought the business option on my personal account was the way to order in my case.

Did you talk to the bot or a human. If Bot, try during opening hours and talk to a human, should be open now.

If you talked to a human @Fairphone_CM I think support should be able to help, by forwarding the info to those maintaining the web page.

I just tried it, it works for me. Added a FP6 to my basket, checked-out as a guest, am able to select “Business”. Tried it with Germany/ German and with France/ French.
When not entering the shipping address and clicking next, it generates a 500 server error, but if I enter everything, it validates my VAT ID. Then I can continue the payment without VAT.

Using Brave on Windows 11, all shields up.

On a side note: In Germany you can also buy a product including the VAT, and then later get it back on your tax report. I’m certain these things differ in every country, but maybe there’s a way for that in France, too?

I had the same problem and I made a personnal order instead of a professional one.

I can’t imagine how much customer they are loosing.
