Hey there, I’m definitely not a skilled programmer or able to tinker with hardware, so let me just ask you, if my idea is realised somewhere or even possible.
So my idea is to cap the whole OS at 24fps to reduce power usage. Would this be of any benefit?
Probably save a little but there is already the 30fps and the screen is on which takes 90% of the power anyway. Then you may find that if most videos are at 30/60/120 there would be glitches trying to get 24 from any of them, without a lot of processing which would defeat the object.
