The buttons are in the rear module. People here reported having been able to transplant them, but frankly I don’t really see a benefit in this when you can replace the rear module as a whole. Basically the rear module is everything that remains once you have removed the back cover, the battery, the display, the three small modules (top, camera, bottom) and the motherboard.
