I have forgot my password -- what to do now?

Hi,

I seem to have forgotten my password.
I have tried brute forcing it (>30 bad tries) but I just get the 30 second lock.
I am running IodeOS.

At this point I don’t care about recovery.
How do I factory reset the device?

Usually you enter Recovery Mode (where the factory reset option can be selected and triggered) by booting the phone with both the Power and the Volume Up buttons held. This should either lead you into Recovery Mode right away or result in an android lying on its back with the words “No command”. In the latter case, briefly hold Power anew and briefly press Volume Up again to proceed to Recovery Mode.

I thought that I would have to reflash the ROM.

This makes sense but I didn;t think of it.
