Is it only me, or is the main Fairphone website so slow and unresponsive for all of You?
Sometimes it is difficult to log in there. All other websites work fine on my PC.
I have no problems.
Did you try another browser?
I used to have the same problem in Firefox on Linux. I just tried again, also with Chrome, and to my surprise the page was loading and displaying normally again. Can’t say I did something myself to improve the situation. I had pauses of almost a second ever since the last redesign. Also I can’t say if there was a recent browser update that improved things. Right now my Firefox is at 151.0.1.

My computer runs on Fedora 43 on Linux. Firefox is 151.0.3.
I have had a similar experience. It does seem to be overloaded with JavaScript, which makes it respond in weird ways, especially if your PC is a few years old. JavaScript is very processor intensive, which is fine on the newest machines, which of course is what the web developers use, so they’re not aware of performance issues for users with older machines.
The site also appeared to have some problems a couple of weeks ago. I tried ordering a new FP6, and I couldn’t even set up the basket properly or link to checkout. A few days later it all worked fine.
So yes, there certainly have been recent issues, maybe it’s sorted now.
