Thats how it would make sense I guess and is working on the FP4 (most times)

Once an OTA update arrives follow those steps:

1. In Magisk press Uninstall Magisk → “Restore Images”
2. Install OTA-update and don’t reboot
3. In Magisk select Install and choose “Install to Inactive Slot (Atfer OTA)”, reboot and have fun

Recently it did not work always for some and I think they could not find the reason, its discussed in this topic

FP4 Root Access is possible, maybe a bit risky

Hi, I followed exactly the procedure in the link above and I got no error message. I use Magisk 25.2 (hidden). After having the boot loop I started in fastboot and switched the the other slot (in my case b) and restarted successfully without root and without the OTA installed. So I ran the update again and rebooted after that unlike in the original instructions.
