I need to root my phone for a streaming service I bought. How do I do this?

All FP1s are rooted by default. Do you get an error message saying that your phone is not rooted?

Sounds very suspicious. What kind of streaming service is this? Are you sure it needs root for legitimate reasons or do you think you might have caught malware?

It’s highly unlikely you would need rooting for the service to work.

Clearly sounds like malware, there are no streaming features that could possibly require root.
