I have lots of trouble installing Xposed and Gravitybox on my FP2… mostly because I don’t seem able to flash any zip from recovery… I always get error messages.
Anyone managed to do it and if yes, how?

Maybe you need to install first TWRP recovery, then flash Xposed framework, then, install Xposed installer, then install Gravitybox.

To get Xposed installed, yesterday I followed the steps and info on these pages:

With the Xposed Installer’s APK (XposedInstaller_3.1.5_alpha4.apk by now) on FP 2 I opened the app and in there managed to get Xposed installed ( by choosing option to update to newer version.

That is an old guide (from 2018) which won’t work on LOS 16 (Android Pie / Android 9).
If you want Xposed on Android Pie, I recommend getting Magisk (which works on Pie). From there you can get Xposed, GravityBox, etc.
