How can you tell if the storage update was successful?

I have tried to apply the storage update for my FP1.
There was an issue during the first update, so I repeated the operation a handful of times.

Now, how can I check that I have the desired unified storage layout?
Can I do that from the settings menu, of from a file explorer app?
What should I look for?

Go to Settings > Storage.
There you should only see one storage + eventually external SD storage and NOT phone storage + internal storage.

I have “internal storage” + “SD card”.
Seems to be ok then, right ?
