Even though I choose the mode “on” or “prioritized” in app norifications, no notifications is shown on the screen beside the app.
To receive notifications you have to setup it twice.
Once in the settings of Sound & notification and once in the settings of the app itself.
I believe you are talking about notification counters on the App symbols like you are used on iOS right? That doesn’t exist on Android by default. You can try to find a custom launcher that has that functionality if you need it. E.g. Buzz Home Launcher has it for some, but not all apps. (At least the last time I used it about half a year ago)
