I have one for my tablet and one for my iPhone (one USB-C and one Lightning adapter). Both are flimsy even though they’re branded. My earbuds have a pretty strong twisted modular cable, the adapters make folding and unfolding my cables annoying. The adapters also tend to get caught on things in my backpack and detach themselves from my earbuds. Headphone jack adapters suck. They’re so bad I really don’t want to have to use them ever again. The jack just needs to be inside the phone where it belongs.

Still a headphone jack. I’m not considering a Fairphone if they don’t have one. I have two dongles already, one for a tablet and one for an old iPhone I got as a handmedown. Dongles suck, they suck so bad for my experience I’m simply not buying any computer, tablet or phone without them. Bluetooth headphones have their niche, but they’re more expensive and worse then wired earbuds. Not to mention bluetooth earbuds are significantly worse for the enviroment.

At least arguments agaisnt BT devices is in the meantime no longer valid
