I’ve watched numerous reviews of the Fairbuds XL. The consensus between most of them was that its Active Noise Cancelation (ANC) is lackluster.
Recently, I was thinking of taking inspiration from the commonplaceness of earplugs and earmuffs being worn simultaneously, to get the highest Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) that’s physically possible out of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Obviously, in this context, it would be the Fairbuds XL, instead of any actual PPE earmuffs. I do wonder, if those two products are worn together, would simply increasing the playback volume be enough, to result in an effect that’s similar to the ANC of superior Bluetooth headphones?
