Getting an FP5 repaired as a middleman possible?

A friend of mine from a non-EU country has a bricked Fairphone 5.
I am from Germany and would like to know if it would be possible / accepted by Fairphone / Cordon, if I could send it to Cordon to get it fixed for him.

Thank you very much.

as far as I know yes, however you would have to check with Fairphone.

It is not relevant here (only for US buyers of Fairbuds XL and Fairbuds from amazon.com), but nevertheless interesting for all regulars reading along: Fairphone’s support article for Fairbuds and Fairbuds XL in the US names (sorry, this is not a bad joke :see_no_evil_monkey: ) ICE Mobility as their Authorized U.S. Service Partner.

Yes, the Person I wanna do it for has asked in a live-chat and they said yes.

Interesting, maybe it’s this “ice mobility”:https://www.icemobility.com/?

I checked the warranty file in November and it did mention ICE (didnt bring any problematic connotations to me then), but now it has changed, and it only says

Please contact the seller directly for warranty information for this product. You may also be able to find warranty information on the manufacturer’s website.
