I used regular vhb with my old case (also black tpu) and that worked fine. Since I had to remove it from the old case, I also had to replace it with new tape. Informed myself and went with VHB LSE since it is marketed as more suitable for TPU.

Do not use adhesive on top of adhesive, so either replace VHB with VHB LSE or stick with regular VHB but dont use both.
