FP5 with Android 16 could fulfill Fairphone's false Promises

FP5 markets it’s phone with a desktop mode, which is simply not true. The truth is, while the hardware is capable of pushing out a HDMI signal over USB, the desktop mode is hardly useable, simply because Fairphone did not patch Android14 to contain a useable desktop mode. Yes, you can somehow make it work with a lot of additional software to install, but in my opinion selling the FP5 with a desktop mode in this state is simply a no go. Now Android 16 will launch with a seriously developed desktop mode, and Fairphone could be able to fulfill this sales argument. Could Fairphone skip Android15 and go for Android16 instead on the FP5?

This will not happen
