Using built-in audio in the FP5 I have really poor quality audio; otherwise the phone works well enough - but the ability to make phone calls without having to use a separate bluetooth headset is far from great. Do other people experience that ? potentially a hardware problem I guess but - my normal call experience without a headset is of acute frustration and repetition.
I also experienced poor quality audio calls when using the earpiece. I didn’t try it on speakerphone yet. At first, I though it might be a hardware issue with the earpiece, but when playing audio over the earpiece, the audio quality is okay.
I have similar problem. Sometimes during calls people can’t hear me clearly, they hear noises and don’t hear me or hear me far away. This happens intermittently and not on every call. With bluetooth headphones it doesn’t seem to happen.
I have the same problem but it sometime happen even with bluetooth headphones on my side.
I am using my new FP5 since few weeks. The people who call and the people I call both tell me they cannot hear me correctly during parts of the conversations, for most of the calls. I didn’t experienced such an issue with the FP3+ before, although calling from the same area with the same SIM card from the same service provider. It is very disturbing and I’m thinking about changing again (although I’d like to reduce my material imprint) because it is my professional phone… The issue is the same either with headphones or with the phone alone.
My mother is having this issue with her FP5 phone when using speakerphone and also when I call her on my FP5, she hears interference when I plug on my earphones with my new FP mini-jack. (the mini-jack does work for listening to audio).
