FP5 phone calls unreliable

When I make phone calls, it pretty often happens that the other party can’t hear me.
I recently found out that the problem can be reliably solved by switching to hands-free mode.
But that’s not an acceptable solution for this problem which I already had with my FP4. On that device I tried all the suggested solutions at the time, including (payed) replacing the SIM card. But the problem persisted.

I opened a ticket for this problem and after 6 weeks I exactly got ZERO answers how to get rid of this problem.
Can please someone (from Fairphone?) comment on this without the standard advise for self-troubleshooting?

thx
Jo

Same/similar issue here. I also logged an issue, but it’s only been 11 days. So I guess I have a long time to wait. I find the level of customer service shocking (including previous experience with an older FP here too - took weeks to receive a ‘non-answer’ and no solution for months).
It’s gotten to a point that I’m using my husband’s mobile phone for important calls. So now I basically have a phone that can’t be used to make phone calls.

It’s a shame that this apparent lack of interest in rectifying this problem is forcing me to switch back to a “dispose early” cell phone.
FairPhone makes it quite difficult to recommend it to others - at least if you need to use it for business purposes…
