FP5 getting hot - every couple of months

Every couple of months, my FP5 gets hot and I have to restart it. Do more people have this problem? How to resolve this problem? Maybe I should install a CPU process viewer or something?

In my experience the FP5 has good thermals. Only recently with the hot sun it can become quite hot, but that’s due to the sun of course.

Perhaps you have to many apps open.
Tab on the square at the right bottom of the screen and close all apps.
See if that helps.

I have this from time to time and just restart, as its gone after that its most likey. Process running wild in that moment.

I had this phenomea a few times, closing all apps did not help. No rason, noch sun… I was afraid that something gets damaged. After restart everything ok.

I experience that, too and also had it sometimes on my previous phone. Reboot always solved and solves the issue, and it was so seldom, that it never really bothered me. I don’t think it really is something to worry about

This happens to me sometimes, usually its because of bad signal it tries to constantly reconnect in which case I just turn on airplane mode until I am in an area that has a good coverage again. Needless to say this happens very rarely.

Apps that are heating up the phone are also draining the battery. So the battery-manager might also give clues about which app is heating up the phone.
