FP4 WhatsApp constantly crashes

After the android 13 upgrade, WhatsApp is unusable. It opens then immediately crashes. I’ve reinstalled and reinstalled. Problem still exists. All other apps seem to work fine. Anyone having this problem? Any ideas how to fix?

I opened support issue with FP last week but no response yet.

FP4 native language is Portuguese, in case that matters. Dual SIM (Portuguese & USA phone numbers). Everything worked fine prior to A13 upgrade.

I am having same issues with WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger, everything is up to date.
Did you get a response from Fairphone ?

I went to WhatsApp and downloaded a new version not yet available in Google play. Instantly fixed the problem.
