Das Telefon FP4 ist seit gestern umfassend defekt: 1) Ich kann nicht telefonieren, weder Lautsprecher noch Mikrofon funktionieren. 2) Das Abspielen von Videos ist nicht möglich. 3) Die Aufnahme von Sprachnachrichten in WhatsApp/Signal/Telegram/Instagram ist nicht möglich. 4) In Instagram lautet die Fehlermeldung: “Du kannst keine Sprachnachrichten aufzeichnen, wenn du gleichzeitig mit einer anderen App aufzeichnest” 5) Videoanrufe mit WhatsApp oder Signal sind nicht möglich. 6) Die Aufnahme von Videos ist weder über die Standard-Kamera-App noch über WhatsApp, Instagram oder Signal möglich.
The FP 4 phone has been completely broken since yesterday: 1) I cannot make calls; neither the speaker nor the microphone are working. 2) It is not possible to play videos. 3) I cannot record voice messages in WhatsApp/Signal/Telegram/Instagram. 4) In Instagram, the error message reads: ‘You cannot record voice messages while recording with another app at the same time.’ 5) Video calls with WhatsApp or Signal are not possible. 6) Recording videos is not possible using the standard camera app, WhatsApp, Instagram or Signal.
It’s almost 90% full; it is not clear if this is a reason for the problems, but it is starting to get tight. Generally I would recommend to get closer to 80%. A microSDXC card can help in clearing space on the internal storage.
I am at under 70% occ. storage, went through all the processes again, with no changes. What is mysterious. Because f. e. Instagram reels directly are not played, but if repostet inside the re-post they work … And no sound in any possibilities … And still, the German FP service website does not work and no reply from them yet.
Frankly such multiple issues all at once leave me more or less clueless about any possible cause. In your position I would backup all data and then factory reset the phone via the recovery. The recovery can be reached by booting the phone with both the POWER and the VOLUME UP button held for a very long time. When you are in the recovery, you can navigate between the options with the volume buttons and confirm a selection with the power button.
Didn’t work up. Plus I lost a lot of informations and have to wait for a couple of bank authentifications. No info yet from the service team. Of course. Frustrated to the end, last Fairphone, for sure.
