I didn’t find anything on this problem so I made a new topic.
Please move the question if it should be elsewhere.
My FP4 (2022) has a second back camera, that turns out to be a wide-angle one.
I found out, when I clicked on an icon in Opencamera.
But since the update of the standard camera software, that standard app indeed looks better.
But
Whereas Opencamera has the button to switch between different cameras, I used that feature. And on the standard camera app I can’t find it.
Going into “professional” settings, I thought I found it.
But that was a wide-view stich-together mode.
Not the extra camera.
Is it available in standard camera?
It’s weird having Opencamera running in background only for the wide-angle pictures, isn’t it?
Thank you. Sometimes these “obvious” actions and “intuitive” interfaces just aren’t.
When Steve Jobs sold his MacPlus, at least the (expensive) machine came with both a paper manual and built-in help.
I stayed on MacOS and never went on to iPhone or iPad, so I ignore whether those had manuals.
On Android the lack of man pages (either man or info, from UNIX and Linux experience) really is annoying.
I would appreciate it if Fairphone would supply some user manuals for their apps.
