FP3 turning off problem

Hi all. So a few months ago my FP3 falls in the loo - classic. Then I’ve dried it for a few days and everything seemed to turnout okay.

Unfortunately after 2 months or so my FP3 turns off or restarts randomly, like all the time. Sometimes I can use it for 1 minute, sometimes 1 hr.

However when my phone is recharging, it is doing perfectly (no drops or anything). So this is me walking around with a large phone and a powerbank hehe.

I hope this is something like an accu fail? What do you guys think?

I suggest to disassemble it (including the modules with screws) and look closely for corrosion on the PCB’s and everything surrounding them and clean it with Isopropanol.

Did you take out the battery?

Okay, I did take out the battery for it to dry but not the other parts. I’ll look into that. Thanks!

Still curious if anybody else experienced the same?

My FP3+ fell in the water for 2 or 3 times. Once I had to replace the bottom module. After the recent water contact the mobile data connection seems to get worse as if one of 2 antennas is broken (I don’t know how many antennas are built in, just as if).

I didn’t dry the parts on its own nor did I all the recommended steps of the waterwiki.
