I may have been too quick yesterday to conclude it is the 3G switch off at fault, I need investigate more, but I know there was something happening on the network a few days ago and since then I’ve been unable to use the phone for calls, texts or data. It won’t stay connected to the network. Saturday evening I went on a walk and when I got far away enough from home I started getting a 3G only signal and was able to use the phone. Reflecting on it now I wonder whether the way the 4G network is configured has changed and the FP3 isn’t speaking to it the way it now expects.
