I have massive problems with the last two updates of the open OS, because my twrp always gets stuck in the home screen (symbol with 2 arrows up/down). A restart of the system is only possible by removing and replacing the battery.
The “normal” mode and the save mode are running. And I know, that TWRP has worked before.

Can you get into TWRP normally (without trying to update)? If not I think you’ll probably have to re-flash TWRP via fastboot.
