FP2 to be built by Hi-P

Read it on heise.de (german only - sorry):

The Fairphone 2 will be designed and built by contract manufacturer Hi-P. Hi-P is located in Singapore. Some years ago, they acquired a Motorola design center. So it’s possible that FP2 will be designed by ex-Motorola engineers.

Edit: Sorry once again. I should have had a look into Fairphone’s blog first; there’s that information, too.

Just to add to this (didn’t check other threads if already mentioned), Hi-P also produces for Apple (but I could not find out what exactly, maybe the outer frame?) and other large manufacturers, and the YotaPhone (that’s the Russian startup which has a e-ink screen on the back).

They are pretty large.
