In order to save battery I put my phone on flight mode as often as I can (which sucks by the way). But randomly phone stays connected and I still receive emails… This is dangerous behavior… when being on a plane for example… Has anyone notice similar behavior? (I’m running Open os)
Me not. But just in case: Have you incidently re-enabled Wifi after turning on flight mode? For me, enabling flight mode initially turns off all radio traffic, but turning on Wifi is possible while staying in flight mode. This is desired behaviour and works for all standard Android devices. Doing so could explain the described behaviour.
