FP2 - app calls not working/text outgoing won't send

Yesterday I suddenly couldn’t sent texts anymore ("cannot send. Tap to try again). When trying to call, the phone app rebooted with text ‘Phone has stopped’ with beneath the icon and text ‘open app’. When doing so text changed to ‘Phone keeps stopping’ i got the X ‘close app’.

Incoming text and calls are working fine.
Already tried multiple times rebooting, still the same problem. Even rebooted to save mode and app does exactly the same.

Is there a way to reinstall app ‘calls’ or would ther be another reason to this problem?

it’s possible to made a “reset” of the “calls” app.
For that go in settings, apps, phone, storage, clear data
