Hello. I am installing the new Kola nut and when I try to click “Install Google apps” it says Fairphone updater is updating your OS in the background - please try again later. My quesition is - how long should this take? I am doing this with the phone on charge and on home wifi so the connection should be Ok and I have 11 GB left of space. Thanks!
open the fairphone updater app, close it and reinstall google apps without problems

I had the same problem, do not know what I did to get it sorted. I fiddled around and pressed several buttons
